The online brass band platform 4barsrest annually presents virtual awards for exceptional merits during the past year. There are awards for soloists, conductors, newcomers, contestants and bands. In addition, at the end of each year, they put together a fictitious band with the - according to 4barsrest - best players from all over the brass band world.
For the band of 2021, none other than our own baritone Leen Vandenhende was nominated! A nice recognition for her talent and hard work to be one of the best soloists on baritone nationally and internationally.
Since 2021 Leen has her own YouTube channel where she regularly posts videos sharing her class with the world.
